The notion of ‘being free’ appears widely understood – many will recall Freddie Mercury’s plaintive call in the middle of the song “I want to break free”.
“…When I walk out that door
Oh how I want to be free, baby
Oh how I want to be free
Oh how I want to break free”
Judging by the massive success of the song it clearly reflected popular sentiment!

Looking at the calendar I realise it’s been two years since my last time in Alice Springs, a most powerful place to run OCEAN and Family Constellation workshops.
Much has happened since, at least for me, and I can imagine for your too.
The world has changed. We all have changed.
Sometimes life serves big reminders, sometimes they are more subtle.
Either way they are an incredible opportunity to learn and grow.
In my late 50’s I start to value structure – and discipline.
Being a free spirit, discipline is not one of my strengths, and growing up in Switzerland did not help, either.
By the time I was 23 I had to break out. Lifelong commitment was not on my list of things to do.
Instead, I went on a spiritual journey. Focused on consciousness.
It’s hard to believe, but it’s three months since I jumped on a plane to Switzerland to be with my mother when she was dying.
Throughout this intense flight I was nervous and not really in my body – and it was amazing at the same time.
